San Andreas C.H.P. Moving To 12 Hour Shifts
Sponsored by:
San Andreas, CA — Following in the footsteps of their Tuolumne County counterparts the Calaveras County CHP Office will be adopting 12 hour work shifts for patrol officers effective the first of April.
Approximately 80 percent of the 102 CHP offices throughout the state have switched to the popular 12 hour shifts. Having set days off and more consecutive days off was favored by officers who voted for the change.
The San Andreas office currently has 13 officers assigned to road patrol.
