Sonora Street To Close For Sewer Line Work

Sonora, CA — A local utilities district is signaling a closure of an area along Lyons Street next week when crews will be working to install a new sewer lateral.
Tuolumne Utilities District (TUD) officials say the planned closure is set for next Tuesday, May 7 from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. The cone zone will run between Hope Lane and Lyons-Bald Mountain Road.
Residents and those who travel that section will need to obey the traffic control signs in the area and be ready to use an alternate route while construction crews are working, such as East Jackson Street, Summit Avenue-East Oakside Drive, and North Park Lane-East Bald Mountain Road.
