Storm Moving Out Of Region: Cleanup Continues

Sonora, CA — Clean up is underway this morning from the storm system that hit the region over the weekend.

PGE reports there remains power outages scattered across the area, but nothing too widespread. The largest outage involves 33 customers up north of San Andreas. A handful of customers are also without electricity in Sonora, as well as Tuolumne, Mountain Ranch and Arnold. Over the weekend there were also downed trees and isolated rockslides that caused some headaches for travelers. This morning, there is a report of a rockslide in the area of Jacksonville Road and Highway 120.

The National Weather Service reports that light rain is possible throughout the morning in the Mother Lode, and partly cloudy skies are expected this afternoon. Warmer temperatures, and sunshine, will then be the trend for the remainder of the week.  Click here to view the anticipated temperatures.
