Deputies Investigate Area Burglaries

Tuoulumne County deputies are investigating a reported burglary in Twain Harte. A vacation cabin back door was found open in the 22 thousand block of Sierra Drive. In Groveland, intruders apparently tried to get into a home on Parkwood Drive while the owner was away. A screen window was damaged, but nothing appears to be missing.
Deputies will be keeping an extra watch on a Fallview Drive neighborhood in Sonora, where vandals smashed the windows in a parked vehicle.
