Waterford Mayor´s Race Settled With Card Draw

The Queen of Diamonds beats a 10 of hearts, and Waterford has a new mayor.
Charles Turner drew the queen at a special ceremony last night, and with it, wins a third term as Waterford´s mayor.
His opponent, Pat Farmer, drew the 10.
Both men received exactly the same number of votes in November´s election: 546. A recount didn´t change the number, and since Waterford doesn´t have an ordinance calling for a special election, it came down to the draw for high card.
Farmer proposed a paint-ball duel on Main Street, but the idea was shot down.
