Visalia Man Claims to Have Won Lotto
A Visalia magazine salesman who is in his 80s has stepped up to claim a $10 million lottery jackpot. A California Lottery spokesman says the man walked into the lottery office in Fresno about 11:30 this morning.
The Fresno lottery office will have a news conference later today to announce the winner´s name.
Lottery spokeswoman Cathy Johnson says the man has bought two lottery tickets since the lottery started in 1986. He bought a ticket for the “SuperLotto Plus” game at a Visalia convenience store earlier this week.
The largest jackpot won in the state was $193 million in February last year. Three people split that jackpot.
