Missing Man Found Near Lyons Dam

Deputies and Tuolumne County Search and Rescue team personnel rescued a Sacramento area man yesterday after he was separated from two friends as they walked out of the Stanislaus River Canyon.
Sheriffs Lt. John Steely says the 22-year-old Elk Grove man was found around 3:30 p.m. yesterday afternoon cold and confused by searchers on horses and all-terrain vehicles.
The man and friends were trying to walk out the Lyons Dam area after their truck slid down an embankment and got stuck.
