Angels Voters Approve T.O.T. Increase

A 4% increase in the tax on hotel and motel rooms in Angels Camp has been overwhelmingly approved by voters.
The transient occupancy tax will go up to 10% starting in July. The estimated $270,000 extra per year will be split between roads, emergency services, and tourism.
