Fire Destroys House in Copperopolis

A house in Copperopolis was severely damaged by fire Saturday night.
The house was on the 31-hundred block of Beaver Road in Copperopolis.
Dustin Alkema and his family were reportedly home and asleep at the time of the fire, and were awakened by the sound of glass breaking.
Some of the houses bedrooms are intact but smoke-damaged.
No cause has been determined for the blaze, but CDF officials say the fire started outside the house.
Damage is estimated at 90-thousand dollars.
