Merced Man Dies In Motorcycle Collision

Jamestown, CA — A 26-year-old Merced man is dead after colliding with a vehicle while riding his motorcycle on Merced Falls Road.
CHP says Wilson Moua was riding southbound near Coronado Drive just before 2:00 yesterday afternoon.
Authorities say Moua was riding too fast for the road and drifted across the centerline on a sharp curve.
A report says Moua crossed into the path of a 2006 Ford driven by 41-year-old Sally McColloch of Sonora.
McColloch apparently took evasive action but was unable to avoid striking Moua. Moua was pronounced dead at the scene , McColloch was uninjured.
