California To Remodel State Parks To Ensure Disabled Access

Sacramento, CA — California will repair and remodel its 270 parks to settle a class action lawsuit charging the nation´s largest state park system has inadequate access and services for disabled visitors.
The changes will be implemented during the next eleven years and the project could cost the state more than $100 million.
The improvements will ensure disabled access to a state park system that serves roughly 80 million visitors annually.
