The name of the surviving victim after Tuesday morning´s triple-fatal crash, and other information, has been released by the California Highway Patrol.

The CHP says the 22-year-old male driver of a 1989 Honda was eastbound on Highway 108 when he came up on slow traffic ahead of him and swerved right onto the shoulder, then swerved left across both lanes of traffic.

The Honda hit a 1991 Toyota wagon occupied by three females, all from the Sonora area. 26-year-old Lisa Degitz of Sonora suffered multiple fractures and was taken to a Modesto Hospital for treatment. The other two women died in the accident, and have not yet been identified. The driver´s age is not known, but the passenger was 49 years old.

The Honda´s driver, from Stockton, was also killed in the wreck.

The CHP adds that the Toyota´s driver and rear passenger were not wearing their seat belts and were ejected from the vehicle.
