Community Activism Honored
San Andreas, CA — Several members of the Calaveras County community were honored by the Board of Supervisors Monday for significant contributions in their neighborhoods.
Tim Laddish of Sheep Ranch set a record for the amount of tires removed in his town – more than 1,300 tires.
Pat McGreevy was honored for the work he´s done cleaning up the Glencoe and Rail Road Flat area.
Silas Parker also received thanks for his efforts in organizing tribal members in the West Point Miwuk community for a massive clean up.
And Diane Kriletich got a nod for her clean up efforts in the community of Paloma, which helped improve the local watershed.
