Tuolumne County Strikes Gold
Sonora, CA — It may not be an Olympic gold medal, but it is a gold ribbon and it signifies superiority for the Tuolumne County exhibit at the California State Fair in Sacramento.
The exhibit is on display in Exhibit Hall A. The theme of this year´s presentation is “History, Culture, Fun … we have it all.” The exhibit features a walk-through gold mine along with animated animals.
On hand to accept the gold ribbon: Second District Supervisor Paolo Maffei, Tuolumne County Visitors Bureau Executive Director Nanci Sikes and the coordinator of the exhibit, LaVerne Richmond.
You still have plenty of time to view the exhibit … the Fair is open through September 4th.
