Modesto Resident Booked On Weapons Charges

Sonora, CA — 22 year old Nicholas Patrick Kremer of Modesto was arrested and booked into the Tuolumne County Jail early Saturday morning by Sheriff´s deputies.

A clerk at Chip´s Chevron in Jamestown reported a suspicious vehicle parked at that location. A number of suspicious people were entering and exiting the white Ford Taurus.

Kremer exited the vehicle and ran into the store when deputies arrived. He was immediately serached. Two weapons including a .22 caliber rifle were discovered in the trunk of the car along with 100 rounds of ammunition. Also found was a hypodermic needle and a syringe.

As a convicted felon in possession of firearms, Kremer was arrested and booked on $20,000 bail.

Three other subjects from the Modesto area were released.
