Grant Funding And Greenley Rd. Highlight County Meetings
San Andreas & Sonora, CA — The Calaveras County Board of Supervisors will vote Tuesday to authorize the Sheriff’s Department to accept $164,618 in grant funding to re-establish a California Multi-Jurisdictional Methamphetamine Enforcement Team.
There will also be discussion on whether to direct the Public Works Department to contract with a licensed civil engineer to prepare an independent report on the comprehensive Integrated Waste Management System.
In Tuolumne County, the Supervisors will vote on whether to approve a new change order for the Jamestown Landfill re-closure project in the amount of $172,646. It would increase the total cost to $7,519,129.
The Board will also hear a presentation on a joint effort of the Public Works Department, City of Sonora and Sonora Elementary School District to pursue grant funding for improvements along Greenley Rd.
