Leadership Tuolumne Seniors Introduction Session Tonight
An introduction session for the Leadership Tuolumne Seniors program will be held tonight at 6 pm inside of the Sonora Area Foundation building in Sonora.
Carleton Penwell, chairman for Leadership Tuolumne Seniors, was Wednesday’s KVML “Newsmaker of the Day”.
The Leadership Tuolumne Seniors program is a once-a-week series classes over a nine week period that deals with a variety of local topics that include the economics of aging, local government, arts, health, communications and community service opportunities.
This is the fourth year of this program which begins on September 17th.
The $350 cost of the program includes weekly materials, meals and events.
The 2015 class is open to both Tuolumne and Calaveras County residents who are fifty and older. Class sizes are limited to fifteen students.
Tonight’s no obligation introduction session begins at 6 PM at the Sonora Area Foundation, which is located at 362 S Stewart Street in Sonora, CA.
