A 41-year-old Tuolumne County man is facing workers compensation fraud charges.
Jeffrey Ferguson faces up to five years in prison and 50-thousand dollars in fines if convicted.
State insurance officials say Ferguson filed workers compensation claims for wrist, back and heel injuries that resulted in payments of more than 75-thousand dollars.
They say Ferguson was later videotaped taking part in a 43-minute tug-of-war contest at the 49th Tuolumne Lumber Jubilee.
