Sonora High School Homecoming Parade Draws Crowds

Sonora, CA — Convertibles lined Washington Street Friday afternoon as the Homecoming court rolled through town for the Sonora High School Homecoming Parade.

Floats representing each of the four years of high school were pulled by trucks full of students waving and smiling at the family and friends who lined the street.

The theme this year was salad dressing and one senior says her class chose Caesar.

After the parade, the Golden Regiment Marching Band performed a concert at Court House Park.

The Sonora Wildcat football team posted victory to cap off the celebration, beating Manteca, 31-28.
