Courthouse Named To Honor Congressman

Sacramento, CA — The Federal Courthouse in Sacramento is being named after the late Representative Robert Matsui.
President Bush signed the legislation Friday to honor the Democrat, who represented the Sacramento area in Congress for 26 years.
Matsui died at the age of 63 after complications from a bone marrow disease.
Replacing him in the House of Representatives is his widow, Doris.
Matsui is known for helping to pass President Clinton´s North American Free Trade Agreement, as well as much other legislation.
