Sacramento, CA — Californians will have the chance to vote this November on a ballot initiative that increases criminal penalties for sex offenders.
More than 700-thousand Californians signed the so-called Jessica´s Law initiative, which also prohibits registered sex offenders from living within two-thousand feet of any school or park. It also requires lifetime monitoring of offenders through a global positioning system.
