Bush’s Approval Ratings Hit All-Time Low In California
Sacramento, CA — A new poll shows that President Bush´s approval ratings among Californians have hit a new low.
In a Field Poll released Tuesday, only 32 percent of registered voters approve of the job Bush is doing, while 62 percent disapprove.
The president has never been very popular in California, a state he lost twice in presidential elections.
The poll found that Californians disapprove of Bush´s handling of the war in Iraq by a more than two-to-one margin, with 65 disapproving and 31 percent approving. That´s the lowest numbers he´s received on the war to date.
Californians views on the legislative branch were also negative, with 66 percent disapproving of the job Congress is doing and just 24 percent approving.
