Update: Tuesday Power Outages In Mother Lode
Update at 4:35 p.m.: In Tuolumne County, the power has been restored for all 162 customers off Highway 108 near Mono Vista along South Creekside Drive that lost their lights after power lines were brought down by the stormy weather.
In Calaveras County, 57 customers in the West Point/Glencoe area where crews found downed power lines remain in the dark. The company has posted a 9 p.m. repair time.

In Tuolumne County, crews continue to work to reconnect power lines brought down by the stormy weather impacting 162 customers off Highway 108 near Mono Vista along South Creekside Drive. The company reports an estimated repair time of 4 p.m. A 5 p.m. restoration time has been listed for a handful of customers in the Groveland area where a tree damaged electrical equipment.
Update at 1:35 p.m.: The heavy rain, hail and windy conditions are wreaking havoc on the Mother Lode as PG&E is reporting new outages.
In Tuolumne County, 162 customers are without lights off Highway 108 in the White Oak Estates area along South Creekside stretching to White Oaks and Crestview drives. The company reports crews have found downed power lines and are working to restore power. Damaged equipment is to blame for an outage in Mi-Wuk and trees into electrical equipment is the cause of an outage in Groveland. Both are impacting a total of about 20 customers.
In Calaveras County, there is a new outage in Mountain Ranch with 21 customers in the dark along Mountain Ranch and Lucky Jim Mine roads. Crews are continuing to work to turn the lights back on for 57 customers in the West Point/Glencoe area where crews found downed power lines.
The company has not posted any restoration times for these outages.
Original post at 7:40 a.m.: Sonora, CA — There are some power outages spread across the Mother Lode this morning resulting from several downed trees and power lines.
There is currently not an estimated full restoration time. PG&E reports that in West Point there are 57 customers, in Twain Harte there are 27, outside of Groveland there are six, near Jesus Maria there are 15 and in Rancho Calaveras there is one.
