Update: Storm System Leaves PG&E Customers Without Power
Update at 3:30pm: Additional power outages are spread across the Mother Lode this afternoon. Because they are so widespread there is not an estimated restoration time for the various locations, according to PG&E. 658 customers are without electricity near Coulterville, 150 in Confidence, 118 in Columbia near Horseshoe Bend Road, and 81 near Wards Ferry Road. Update at 11am: There are now 236 PG&E customers without electricity outside of Murphys. What exactly caused the outage is under investigation and there is no estimated restoration time. It is impacting areas like French Gulch Road, Murphys Grade Road, La Honda Park, Darby Lane and Diltz Lane. Update at 7:35am: PG&E reports that customers near Angels Camp have now been restored. There are small outages, impacting just single customers, in Phoenix Lake, Copperopolis and Valley Springs. Original story posted at 6:10am: Angels Camp, CA — As an atmospheric river type storm system passes through the Mother Lode, it is resulting in some residents losing power this morning.
87 PG&E customers are without electricity outside of Angels Camp. PG&E reports that it is impacting portions of Pool Station Road, Riata Way, Tapadero Street and Jaquima Drive. The lights went out during the three o’clock hour this morning and there is no estimated time of restoration.
