What do you think about researching diseases, treatments, and other medical information on the internet?

The internet is a fantastic resource that is changing the way we live and the way doctors practice medicine.  It’s common that a parent will bring me an article they have found about a disease I’ve never encountered before.  Because there is so much information available, it’s important to know where the information is coming from and the motivation for the site – Education? Profit? The bottom line is that anyone can say anything on the internet and not be held accountable.
