The Annual Tree of Lights memorial celebration honoring loved ones who have passed will be held virtually on Friday, December 11 and broadcast LIVE on the Hospice Facebook page. The event will begin at 6 p.m. with a reading of the names of those being honored, followed by a message from Hospice Chaplain George Stathos, music by Mountain Melody Women’s Chorus, a memorial candle lighting and finally, the lighting of the Hospice holiday tree. Memorial Boards with the names of those honored will be posted at both Thrift Store locations and will remain in place through New Year’s Day. To donate to the Tree of Lights and memorialize a loved one, go to www.hospiceofamador.org and click on the Tree of Lights poster on the homepage.
