Man Injured In Fire

Columbia, CA — The Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office reports that a man was injured in this morning’s mobile home fire in the area of Howser Lane.
Sheriff’s Office Spokesperson Sgt. Jeff Wilson says 77-year-old John Mathews was airlifted to UC Davis Medical Center. The extent of Mathews injuries are not immediately known. The fire destroyed the structure, and fire officials are still investigating the cause.
