Two Motorcyclists Injured In Calaveras County

San Andreas, CA — Sunday morning a couple of Elk Grove motorcyclists were involved in back-to-back accidents on Hwy 26 east of Deardorf Rd.
33 year old Oliver Daniels III failed to negotiate a right to left curve due to his unsafe speed. His 2005 Yamaha proceeded off the roadway hitting an embankment. Daniels was ejected.
25 year old Jason Steel was following Daniels when he braked to missed the downed bike. Due to his unsafe speed he also was ejected from his bike.
Daniels was treated at Modesto Memorial for moderate injuries … Steel for minor injuries at Mark Twain-St. Joseph´s Hospital.
