Winter Storm Warning For Sierra

Sonora, CA — The Mother Lode is getting a dose of cool and wet weather.
The National Weather Service says a Winter Storm Warning is in effect until 4am Saturday for the Sierra Nevada.
Snow levels are expected to remain at around 4,500 ft. today, with 11-16 inches expected in the highest elevations.
Another cold front will move in Sunday night and continue through early next week. Snow levels may drop down into the foothills by Sunday evening. Be prepared for winter driving conditions.
