Jackson Teen Sustains Injuries In Highway 49 Crash

San Andreas, CA — A Jackson teenager is recovering from minor injuries after an accident last night.
The California Highway Patrol says the teen was traveling as a passenger in the car of an 18 year old from Ione, when the driver began to slide off Highway 49 out of a curve.
Reports indicate the driver then over corrected and lost control of the vehicle causing it to spin and hit an embankment. The passenger was transported to Mark Twain St. Joseph´s Hospital for treatment.
