Traffic Stop Leads To Arrest

San Andreas, CA — A routine traffic stop in San Andreas led to the arrest of a Ceres man for possession of a controlled substance.
A Calaveras County Sheriff´s Deputy pulled 24-year old James Hall over at 1:30 a.m. on Friday.
Hall was driving with a suspended license. The deputy searched the car and found a bag of crystallized substance consistent with methamphetamine.
Hall was arrested for driving on a suspended license and possession of a controlled substance. He is being held in Calaveras County Jail on $18,000 bail.
