September’s Copper Concerts
The September Saturday Concert Series in Copperopolis will kick off this Saturday with local artist Josh Pfeiffer.
Pfeiffer was Thursday’s KVML “Newsmaker of the Day”.
Pfeiffer’s debut CD is entitled American Crooner; Act 1. The CD contains a bit of jazz and swing-pop inspired by ‘crooner’ influences ranging from Frank Sinatra and Andy Williams to the more recent style of Michael Buble and Jason Mraz.
Currently raising a family in Copperopolis, Pfeiffer grew up in Tuolumne County and attended Summerville High School. He was a part of the Summerville’s “Jazz at 8” program.
The Copperopolis September Concert Series takes place each Saturday night at Copper Town Square from 7 PM through 10 PM. Upcoming shows include Joni Morris, The Sensations, Boyz Nite Out, Tom Rigney and Flambeau.
These concerts are free, although parking is five dollars and tables with wine may be reserved for an additional cost.

The “Newsmaker of the Day” is heard each weekday morning on AM 1450 KVML at 6:47, 7:47 and 8:47am.
