Events are taking place in Tuolumne County celebrating the local filming of Back to the Future III and raising money for the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research.
The film was shot over 30 years ago in the Red Hills area outside of Jamestown and at Railtown 1897.
Mother Lode Views featured legendary Hollywood Cinematographer Dean Cundey, who shot the trilogy, and Jeffery Weissman who played George McFly in Back to the Future II and III.
Numerous activities themed around Back to the Future are being held in Columbia and Jamestown.
The pair also shared inside stories about the filming of the third installment.
