Since 1993, the year Bill Clinton first took office, 49 members of the Executive, Legislative and Judicial Branches of Government have been found guilty of a variety of felonies including mail and wire fraud, perjury, child pornography, sexual assault, bribery, felony theft, check kiting (on the House Bank no less) racketeering and tax fraud among other crimes. This is a rare non-partisan issue as both parties have been equally guilty and yet only 1 member of Congress was expelled, 2 censured and 3 reprimanded. Out of 49.
