Grace Beyond the Ashes Concert

Held Sunday, November 22 in the Mark Twain Hall of the Calaveras County Fairgrounds.
“This is an effort to connect and feed the spiritual needs of the families, and others, affected by the tragic Butte Fire and to lift their hearts to the one that heals all,” states Lucky King, the event organizer. “We also hope to raise a lot of money that our team will distribute directly to where the needs are.”
Beginning at 12:30 p.m., the hall will be filled with music, and other entertainment, video presentations, food booths, a silent auction and vendors. There will also be childcare, an activity area, and places for private prayer.
The fire has been most traumatic and damaging to so many families mentally, physically and Spiritually, And the upcoming holidays will likely be even more depressing for them. We are Gods Love & Grace, Hands & Feet and possibly “the Only Jesus some will EVER see”.
This is an effort to connect and feed the spiritual needs of the families affected by this catastrophe and that of the community and to lift their hearts to the one that heals ALL. Some may not know Him but want to, Some may just need to re-connect. This is what we are called to help with.
This is also and attempt to Connect grieving spirits with our Local Churches in a way that is not as intimidating as stepping into a church where they may not know anyone. And also allows them to see these same churches in cooperation with each other, sharing a common goal and belief in our Lord.
There will be counseling available and opportunity to share your story and your needs so that we may be able to respond and connect directly to those needs.
We do hope to raise a lot of $$ and we will be taking donations, that our Team will distribute directly to where the needs are. Our Goal is $100,000 but we are leaving that where it belongs which is in God’s Loving Hands.
Primarily a Volunteer run event, many more volunteers are needed. ALL funds will go directly to Families and persons affected by the Butte Fire, through SACCC (San Andreas Community Covenant Church), less Event Expenses.
An undertaking of this scope requires the involvement of many churches, and other groups, as well as a large number of volunteers. Securing these commitments is at the top of Kings to-do list. She is looking for dedicated members of the community who can help set up the facility, provide transportation, bake goodies to be sold, secure auction items, solicit sponsorships and donations and perform a multitude of other tasks.
