Docent Training at Columbia State Historic Park begins January 18th and runs for 6 consecutive Saturdays from 9-2:30pm. Come learn about the California Gold Rush, the discovery of gold in Columbia, and the effect it had on the rest of the world. Go on a behind the scenes tour into our many old buildilngs and homes. Learn about the people who formed this town, the characters and the influential people of that time, and how to portray them in reenactments, plays, and tours.
