Our favorite AAUW event of the year is coming up — the Annual Social and Dinner and Black Oak Casino on March 21. It’s a fun and relaxing evening of great food, no host bar, great friends, and a presentation from an accomplished woman from our county. This year it’s our good friend, Cynthia Restivo, who we’ve come to know through teaching and performing. She’s an author and storyteller, and she’ll be sharing her journey through her career by telling personal stories and adult folk tales. She might even have us sharing our own stories with others at our table. The theme of the evening will be WHAT’S YOUR STORY, MORNING GLORY?

Tickets are $34 each which includes a wonderful dinner of either Grilled Marinated Skirt Steak or Portobello Mushroom stuffed with roasted veggies, 5-grain pilaf, sweet potatoes and garlic. Subject to change. Chef will use veggies that are seasonal. No Host Bar
