Fallen Soldier Returns To Sonora

Sonora, CA — 22 year old Robert Theodore “Bobby” Rapp will return to Sonora today for the very last time.

His mother, Jennifer Rapp, tells KVML News he will not be arriving at Columbia Airport as that facility cannot handle the military aircraft. The family is not disclosing the locale of his arrival as today has been designated as a day of privacy.

The Friday procession for the Sonora High graduate will start at nine o´clock and proceed through the downtown area to Sierra Bible Church for the ten o´clock service. Burial will then take place at Dambacher Cemetary on Lyons Bald Mountain Rd. A celebration of life will then follow at Mountain Springs Golf Club.

AM 1450 KVML will broadcast the 10am Memorial Service in its entirety. The service will also be audio streamed live on MyMotherLode.com.
