Removing a double-spaced signature in Microsoft Outlook

Question: How do I remove a double spaced signature in Microsoft Outlook?

Answer: What you will need to do is first open Microsoft Outlook. Then you will click on the Tools menu found at the top and click Options. Next click on the Mail Format tab which is at the top of the window. Once you have gone to the Mail Format tab, click on the Signatures button. Select your signature that you wish to change, then click the Edit button. Now you will need to click your cursor at the end of the first line so that the cursor is blinking after the last character. Next you will press DEL on your keyboard. You should see the line below move up to where your cursor is, don’t worry that is ok. Now what you will want to do is hold down Shift on the keyboard, then press Enter while holding Shift, then release Shift. This should make it so that there is not an extra hidden break in the line which is what was causing your double space. Put your cursor at the end of the next line, then DEL, then Shift+Enter again. Do this for each line in your signature. Once you have finished, click OK, then click OK again, then click OK a 3rd time and you should be set. Send yourself a test message to see if everything is working as it should.
