A classic Chicken and Rice dish. Throw it together, put it in the oven, and try to wait as the delicious smell fills the house!
|1||cut up fryer chicken|
|1/2||pkg||onion soup mix|
|1||can||cream of chicken soup|
|1||can||cream of mushroom soup|
Spread rice on bottom of 13by9 pan.Sprinkle onion soup over rice. Mix chicken soup and mushroom soup in 2 cups of water, whisk well and pour over the rice. Place the chicken on top of this. Pour melted margarine over the chicken. Sprinkle heavily with paprika if desired. Bake at 325° for 1 and a half hours, covered, if desired.
