Friday, April 14th — The sound of a new movie playing in the background, sitting in your car with your best friends on a Friday night–a drive-in movie. Bret Harte students will have a chance to experience a drive-in movie like kids used to do in the 80s in the student body parking lot, on Friday April 14th, at 8:00pm. Students can purchase tickets in the quad during lunchtime two weeks in advance, and there will be food trucks available during the movie in the parking lot.
A drive-in movie has not been involved as a Bret Harte event since 2019, and we want to bring the special experience back to life. We want to connect students with the feeling of going to a drive-in movie on a Friday night with your friends. In doing so, we will shed some light on how students can be safe while having the freedom of driving.
