Dress up in your Easter finery and come to Columbia State Historic Park on Sunday, March 31st for the annual Victorian Easter Celebration presented by the Columbia Chamber of Commerce. Participate in the Main Street parade at 12:30pm where awards will be given for several categories including fanciest Victorian hat, best-dressed couple, lasses and lads, and much more.
Registration begins at 11:00am in front of the Fallon Hotel.
Children will enjoy the popular Easter Egg Hunts. The Small Fry Egg Search (ages 3 to 5) begins at 12:00pm. The Junior Egg Poachers (ages 6 to 8 ) will try their luck at 2:00 pm following the parade.
And finally, the Great Egg Scramblers (ages 9 to 12) will go on the hunt at 2:30pm. Find the golden egg and receive a special prize!
Be on the lookout for Thaddeus E. Hare (aka the Easter Bunny) walking around town and handing out goodies to the kids! There will be a raffle for Easter Baskets filled with goodies from Columbia’s merchants at 3:00pm in front of the Johnson’s Livery stable.
