Columbia Kicks Big Band will host a concert featuring vocalist and guitarist Alex Lucero on Saturday, April 6, 2024 at 2 p.m. in the Dogwood Forum on the Columbia College campus. Admission is free.
A courtesy shuttle will provide transportation from the staff parking lot to Dogwood Forum door.
Special guest artists will join the band, including Mark Gee on piano, Clint Day on bass, and David Hawkes on drums. Background vocals will be provided by Ave Carrillo, Ava Clement, Natalie Harris, and Sydney Swarthmary.
The concert will feature jazzy renditions of R&B hits, including “If You Don’t Know Me By Now,” “Signed, Sealed, Delivered,” “You’re Still a Young Man,” “Love and Happiness,” “What You Won’t Do for Love,” and “Just the Two of Us.”
