The first half of the concert will end with the premiere performance of conductor Daryl Hollinger’s stimulating and uplifting “Gloria,” a 3-movement work for chorus, soloists and orchestra. The concert’s second half will feature holiday music of varying traditions, from Hanukkah to Gospel and Doo-Wop. Also included will be the chorus’ traditional “Hallelujah Chorus” from Handel’s “Messiah,” and the ever-popular audience sing-along.
Tickets are $10 presale or $12 at the door, $5 age 12 and under. Tickets available at the Mountain Bookshop, Manzanita Bookstore, and Murphys Music Company, or by calling 209-694-0168.
