On Saturday, September 21, 2019, the Sonora Independent Order of Odd Fellows (IOOF Sonora) is hosting its 4th Annual Living History Tour. Participants will experience the past come alive as they are given a walking tour of one of the oldest and most interesting cemeteries in Tuolumne County. Costumed guides will provide the cemetery’s highlights and costumed characters at specific spots along the tour will tell the stories of some lain to rest in the historic cemetery. Tours will be given at: 4:00 pm, 4:30 pm, 5:00 pm and 5:30 pm; each tour lasts between 45 and 60 minutes.
Tickets are $20 per person and all proceeds will benefit the preservation of the nonendowment cemetery. Tickets are available for purchase online at: ioofsonora.org and via phone reservation (209) 890-9792.
