The Copperopolis Community Center is holding their 36th Annual Wine Tasting; “First Taste of the Year” on Saturday, January 14, 2023, 5:30pm to 7:30pm. The event will be at the Historic Union Guard Armory located at 695 Main Street, Copperopolis. Participating local Wineries will be pouring their featured wines. Participants will be invited to cast their ballots for a People’s Choice Award to be presented to the Winery in the best white and best red category. Raffle tickets will be sold for the chance to win prizes donated by local businesses. In addition, Charcuterie Board Style Appetizers will be served.
Special guest Michael Kelly, local wine collector, aficionado, and nationally published wine writer and wine judge, will be mingling with the participating wineries and attendees, as well as writing about the wines at this event. He will also be presenting the People’s Choice Awards.
All proceeds benefit the Historic Brick Church and Union Guard Armory.
Tickets $25 in advance, $30 at the door. Includes Souvenir Engraved Wine Glass, Charcuterie Board Style Appetizers. Advance Tickets $25 (Cash or Check Only) available the following Copperopolis locations:
