As usual this weekend’s events reflect the unique style of the Mother Lode.
The Mother Lode Fair Grounds is hosting the Gold & Outdoor Festival this weekend. Held on both Saturday and Sunday activities include: panning for gold, equipment demonstrations, metal detector hunting, prospector seminars, a chance to win $3000 in buried treasure, and $10,000 in door prizes. For those who reserved a place at the 8th Annual Fundraiser Meals & Wheels For Meals on Wheels it’s fiesta time at RailTown 1897 State Historic Park, in Jamestown. Guests will be entertained by live Latin music and dinner will be prepared by Seven Sisters. Train Rides, Live & Silent Auction, Raffle Prizes, Best “Fiesta Costume Contest”.
