Fishing

Fishing Trails

Pardee Lake is located on the Mokelumne River. Most of the anglers that visit Lake Pardee fish for Rainbow Trout, both from shore and from boats. Rainbow Trout are stocked here regularly through a unique program with the Department of Fish and Game. Pardee was the first to use Fishing Access Permit funds to stock the lake starting in 1975 and many others use this system now.

Shorelines offer a full range of fishing places which include points, rock outcroppings, slides, and drop offs. The 300 foot depth of the water supports a great year-round fishery. The ten lane boat launch ramp is phenomenal for easy launching and exiting. A state of the art fish cleaning station is available as well as boat rentals.
