Update at 1:15pm: Due to flooding, the Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office reports there are road closures along Red Hills Road in Chinese Camp, Sims Road in Jamestown and Bell Mooney Road in Jamestown. You will want to avoid those areas.

Original story posted at 8am: Sonora, CA — PG&E reports that over 500 PG&E customers are without power in the greater Arnold and Dorrington region. PG&E is on scene investigating, and the hope is to have everyone restored there sometime this afternoon.

There are also dozens of customers without power in Tuolumne County due to multiple small scattered outages in the areas of Jamestown, Columbia, Tuolumne, Twain Harte and Soulsbyville. PG&E reports that it is unclear when there will be full restoration.

Allow yourself extra time when traveling today due to mudslides and flooding. The Tuolumne County Fire Department reports that Chinese Camp was one of the hardest hit areas. As you can see in the images, there was flooding on Red Hills and Sims Road. Last night areas of J-59 were also closed due to high water. More wet weather is on the horizon.
