Update: One Road Opened In Twain Harte, Other Remains Closed
Update at 4:15 p.m.: The Tuolumne County Community Resources Agency reports Twain Harte Drive has reopened. It was closed since yesterday afternoon from High Road to Ponderosa Road due to storm damage. Ponderosa Road remains closed from Twain Harte Drive to Hillcrest Road. County Deputy Director of Roads Duke York advises that a large PG&E crane on the roadway being used for removing dead trees is still doing clearing in the area. It is not immediately clear how long that road will remain closed.
Original post at 9:36 a.m.: Twain Harte, CA — The Tuolumne County Community Resources Agency reports that some roads in Twain Harte remain closed today due to yesterday’s storm event.
Twain Harte Drive is closed from High Road to Ponderosa Road, so you will need to take an alternate route. The closure is due to trees and PG&E power lines in the roadway. In addition, Ponderosa Road is closed from Twain Harte Drive to Hillcrest Road due to downed trees. It is not immediately clear how long the impacted roads will be closed.
